QualsVault: one place for every NVQ portfolio

The problem

An NVQ is proven with evidence. Every photo, observation and witness statement has to be matched to the right criteria, checked by an assessor, sampled by an internal quality assurer and opened to an external one, often months later. Most centres still do this across shared folders, spreadsheets and e-mail threads, and the paperwork takes longer than the assessment.

The blueprint

We built the platform around the qualification, not around courses. A centre sets up a learner on their qualification and units once; from there the assessor plans, collects evidence and maps it to criteria, and progress updates by itself. Each role sees only what it needs: learners upload evidence and agree plans from their phone, assessors work from a dashboard of what is waiting, quality assurers sample with a guided flow, and external reviewers get secure, read-only access. Pages are rendered on the server, so the app stays fast on any device, and every change is recorded, so a centre can answer any audit question.

What shipped

A calm, complete workspace for the whole assessment cycle, from the first piece of evidence to the certificate. Centres spend less time on admin, assessors get their evenings back, and quality assurance follows a clear trail instead of hunting through folders.
